Pregnancy and your Rights in the Workplace
Attached for your reference and use are copies of the Illinois Department of Human Rights’ Pregnancy Notice, which should be posted as of January 1, 2015 for employees to see.
This amendment to the Illinois Human Rights Act creates additional protections for pregnant employees and those who have recently given birth. It applies to any employer that employees one or more employees and protects part-time and full-time employees as well as job applicants.
