Ray is the Executive Vice President of Employee Benefits and has more than 25 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. He specializes in benefit solutions for groups of fifty to one thousand employees with a focus on technology based consumer driven products. While Ray’s clients are of various sizes and specialties, his primary focus has been municipalities and non-for-profit entities. Ray has outstanding relationships with the industry leaders, from underwriting and claims, to upper management, and believes maintaining a strong relationship with the markets allows for continuous growth in an ever-changing marketplace.
Besides managing the benefits division, Ray is responsible for new account development and assuring that current clients receive the highest levels of customer service. Ray actively serves on a number of carrier boards including but not limited to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
Property & Casualty Division
Mike Schoch, Executive Vice President
Mike is the Executive Vice President at American Westbrook and has more than 20 years of experience in the Property & Casualty industry with specialized efforts in commercial lines. While Mike’s clients are of various sizes, his primary focus expands over numerous industries including construction, manufacturing, automotive and non-for-profit entities. In order to maintain and promote our strong relationships Mike works very closely with many of our carriers. He has outstanding relationships with the industry leaders, from underwriting and claims, to upper management, and believes maintaining a strong relationship with the markets allows for continuous growth in an ever-changing marketplace.
Besides managing the Retail division, Mike is responsible for the new business development team, providing a high level of service to existing customers and management of the Property/Casualty sales force.
Human Capital Management Division
Greg Crawford, PHR
Vice President, American Westbrook Insurance Services
Greg Crawford brings more than 20 years of human resources management experience to his current position as Vice President Human Capital Management. He is a certified professional in human resources and has held leadership positions that include, Director Employment, Empire BlueCross BlueShield of New York, Director Compensation and Benefits, BlueCross BlueShield Associations, Director Human Resources for the start up operations of National Futures Association and Manager Human Resources for the Chicago Board of Trade.
In addition to Greg’s human resources background, he has held sales and marketing positions with the Signature Group as Vice President Employer Marketing, Adecco, as Area Vice President, and with the TJ Adams Group as Vice President Human Capital Management.
Greg is an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Business, North Park University. His courses and lecture activities include Fundamentals of Human Resources Management and Principles of Human Resources. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Axelson Center for Non-Profit Management’s “Boot Camp” for new non-profit CEO’s.
Greg holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from North Park College and a Masters Degree in Communications from Governors State University. Greg has served as a member of North Park University’s Board of Trustees for 10 years.
