Account Representative- Source One Benefits

We are seeking an individual for our Source One Benefits division (downtown Chicago office) to provide technical support and to work with sales representatives in marketing and service of client accounts. This is a part-time position (28-30 hours per week).

Primary Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Run online quotes for group(s) 2-9 lives
Prepare and send to market RFP’s on groups with 10 or more lives from Agency Ware
Track RFP’s including following up with carrier on missing quotes. Enter quotes received in Agency Ware, run cost/benefit analysis spreadsheet from Agency Ware and send to broker.
Commission accounting including bank check deposit/check log. Enter and balance carrier statements through Agency Ware.
Large Group Account Maintenance including maintaining employee roster, carrier reconciliation, reporting and customer service.
Answer phone calls and return voicemail messages
Perform other duties as required

Job Specifications

(Education, experience, skills, characteristics)
:

High school diploma
2 years related experience
Knowledge of employee benefits
Above average phone personality and ability to deal with people
Detail oriented and organized
Excellent communication and computer skills
Knowledge of agency management system preferably Agency Ware
